El ultimo beso

What could be a more romantic tea setting than a renovated white washed Porteño house in the heart of Palermo Soho.  Not much else.  El Ultimo Beso offers the best of Porteño charm, delicious french pastries, flavorful coffee and an assortment of  teas.

Beautiful stone tables and statues jostle for space with white wrought iron furniture and a myriad of flowers. The desserts are scrumptious and a visit to the toilets is a must.  Small mirrors cover one wall and a claw-foot bathtub filled with water and floating roses occupies about a third of the bathroom. Absolute bliss.

The tea menu states that it is “inspired by the romanticism that history’s greatest loves instill,” matching each tea with a love story and a kiss from film classics like Casablanca,   Indecent Proposal,  and Gone with the Wind.
